MARIA E. CORREDOR, ESQ.

Founding Partner

Born in Havana, Cuba and raised in the United States since age 1, Maria Corredor received a Bachelor in Business Administration from Florida International University and her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law. Ms. Corredor's experience includes having clerked for the St. Thomas School of Law Immigration Clinic, as well as a clerk for the Public Defender's Office in Miami, and serving as an Associates Articles Editor of St. Thomas Law Review. Ms. Corredor graduated magna cum laude completing her studies at St. Thomas School of Law by June 1995. Ms. Corredor consistently made Dean's List throughout her studies at Law School. Ms. Corredor has specialized in the areas of insurance law and first party litigation since graduating from St. Thomas School of Law. Having practiced as an Insurance Defense Attorney for the first eight years of her career, she represented multiple insurance companies in defending claims involving homeowner's coverage, auto coverage and personal injury claims. In March of 2004, Ms. Corredor started her own firm Maria E. Corredor, P.A., specializing in representing Plaintiffs in claims against insurers. Her practice includes the areas of first party claims; No Fault (PIP) claims litigation, bodily injury claims, as well as claims involving the Florida Department of Health (DOH) brought against a medical providers license. Significant milestones at the firm included the naming of Ms. Lina Husseini, Esq. and Mr. Tim Snedaker, Esq. as named partners, in March 2010 and September 2012, respectively. Over the course of the past 9 years, the firm has grown/expanded from being a 3 employee/1 attorney firm to its current size of 25+ employees/6 attorneys firm.
